The Couple of the Year program was fantastic with GWRRA for many years!  With that being said, it has come time for a New look with Wing Rider PA District:  Outstanding Star(s) Award.

The guidelines are very easy with no resume, no competition, no dress affair, just FUN!  Yes, you can select a single person or a couple!  Consideration for your Chapter Outstanding Star(s): 

• Involvement with your Chapter
• What they do other than Chapter life, not limited to what is listed:
  • Community involvement 
  • Care Giver for a Family Member or Special Needs Child
  • Veterans’ organization American Legion or VFW
  • Church, Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, Trustee

• Every Chapter has Someone or a Couple that is an Outstanding Star!  The way the program will work, choosing from Wing’d Rider Members:
• Chapter Directors will submit their write up by August 1 to Barry & Rhonda Blyler, Outstanding Star(s) Award Coordinators.
• The announcement will be made at the District Rally, no announcement at the Chapter level.  This is intended to be a surprise to honor them at the Rally, the first time the recipient(s) will hear of it.
• At the Rally in August, the Chapter Director, or his designate, will read what they submitted for their Outstanding Star(s).
• We look forward to having a selection from every PA Chapter.
